Challenge

Inclement weather here in the Greater Seattle Area can often cause significant cosmetic damage to the siding on your home, as well as pose a danger to the structural integrity and health of those that live there. That was the case for our customer's home when they reached out to us, hoping to receive a whole-house re-side and exterior paint job on their house in Tukwila. With the age of the home, it was also important to check for any lead contamination around the property during installation to protect them from any potentially dangerous materials.

Solution

Our crew removed all of the old and damaged siding material, then installed James Hardie Color Plus Cerdarmill siding to the entire home. During this process, due to the potential for lead contamination based on the age of the home, our team instilled work-specific practices to guarantee the materials were handled properly for the safety of our customers. To give the home the style they desired, we added a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams Super Paint to match the newly installed product with a body-color of gray slate and trim color of arctic white. We also installed James Hardie Fascia to the entire house, connecting it to the existing gutters to ensure proper drainage of rain and other materials, which is essential in the environment that the home exists in.
