Challenge

Partial siding replacements propose a complicated challenge, in which the new and old materials must blend seamlessly to improve the overall curb appeal of the home while maintaining its structural integrity. For this homeowner's unique situation, only the left, right, and front walls all needed replacement of previously damaged materials while the rest was to remain. They were also hoping to have an exterior paint job done around the whole house, but there were some spots of bare and stained wood throughout that we had to repair before completing the job.

Solution

Our crew was able to remove all of the previous material from these areas only and install James Hardie Primed Plank to match the rest of the home. The materials blended well, and we were able to spot prime the damaged areas of the current exterior to prepare the home for painting. Finally, we finished it off with an overall exterior paint job using Sherwin Williams Super Paint to tie everything in together.
