Challenge

When performing any kind of repair work to specific sections of siding on an existing structure, it is important to make the new and original materials blend seamlessly while also updating any pieces that are damaged or needing replacement. That was especially true for our customer's home in Kent, as they needed different parts of the exterior siding replaced throughout the home, including a section above the garage, the east-facing chimney stack, and a gable on the second story. With these parts being disconnected and in various areas of the home, it was essential that our crews paid close attention to detail and installed the cedar properly.

Solution

Our crew was able to come in and replace all of the existing materials that were previously damaged with Tight Knot Pre Primed Cedar Lap Siding to match the rest of the siding. Installing the same type of siding is extremely important to make the patch workflow together well. Finally, we painted the entire exterior of the home in a bright new coat of Sherwin Williams Super Paint to bring the completed project together.
